Posters and communicationsAs a participant, you have the opportunity to submit an abstract for either an oral presentation or a poster, or both. All abstracts will be reviewed by the local organising committee. Abstracts for oral presentations will be selected by the scientific committee.
Talks Regular talks will be 25 minutes long, with 20 minutes for the talk and 5 minutes for questions. Short talks from early career researchers, defined as PhD students, postdocs (with less than five years' experience since completing their PhD), will be 10 minutes long with 7 minutes for the talk and 3 minutes for questions. Speakers will be required to upload their final slides using a flash drive, no later than 30 minutes before their talk session, directly on the session computer in the room. The computers used for presentations will be PC computers. Please use PowerPoint and widescreen format. No personal computers will be allowed for talks. Posters Posters may be a maximum size of A0 (841 x 1199 mm, or 33.11 x 46.81 inches), in PORTRAIT orientation. Please note that poster printing will not be available on site. Poster set-up will be possible starting Monday, 5 October. Odd-numbered posters will be presented on Monday, 5 October. Even-numbered posters will be presented on Tuesday, 6 October. All posters will remain on display for the duration of the conference. Clips will be provided to hang posters on the boards. Confirmation of receipt and notification of decision You will receive an email from the submission website confirming that your abstract has been received. Notifications regarding the status of your abstract will be sent once the review process is complete.
